INTERCONNECT CABLES Spirolink I Spirolink I is our entry level interconnect, comprising high purity single strand copper insulated in polyethylene dielectric to form a twisted pair configuration. Although the construction is not screened due to sound quality considerations, noise and hum immunity is nevertheless good. This particular cable exhibits a neutral and open sound that rivals more expensive cables. Spirolink II Spirolink II is a very high quality analogue interconnect consisting of grain orientated large crystal copper conductors sleeved in the best available PTFE insulation. Again this cable is unscreened, but the twisted pair construction does posses good noise immunity. The resulting sonic performance can be most easily characterised as: fast, open and transparent. Spirolink III Spirolink III comprises a multistrand PC-OCC conductors surrounded by a unique dual dielectric insulator based upon PTFE. This special construction has been adopted to give this cable a transparent and open sound without edginess or brilliance. As a consequence, its sound quality approaches the level set by the Trilink.		Trilink Trilink is a very advanced interconnect, utilising three separate twisted pair cables bound in a polyethylene jacket. Several technologies are embraced, including multistrand and single strand conductors manufactured from LC-OFC and PC-OCC copper. The insulation chosen for each separate twisted pair cable is either: natural PTFE or high temperature modified polyethylene dielectric. This produces a unique interconnect that exhibits the precision of single strand cables, but also retains the tonal colour and weight of the best multistrand interconnects. Reference Silver Reference silver is the most open, transparent and natural sounding cable we have so far produced. Ultra high purity large crystal annealed silver conductors are employed, sleeved in a custom silicon rubber dielectric. This cable can be compared with the very best, regardless of price and is a real improvement in high resolution systems. All analogue interconnects produced by LFD Audio are supplied in standard 0.7m and 1.25m lengths, however custom lengths can be made to order. Alternative terminations, such as DIN and XLR plugs are also available.
DIGITAL INTERCONNECTS Digilink Copper Digilink copper is a 75 ohm coaxial cable designed for transferring digital data from a CD transport to a Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC). The outer braid and centre conductor utilise a special high purity copper separated by a "semi air-spaced" dielectric.		Digilink Silver Digilink Silver performs the same function as Digilink copper, but comprises a twisted pair cable employing high purity (99.999%) solid silver conductors insulated in a PTFE dielectric.
LOUDSPEAKER CABLES Airoflex Airoflex loudspeaker cable comprises single strand high purity copper conductors insulated with a "semi air-spaced" dielectric. For improved sound quality the outer jackets utilises a visually attractive polyester braid. This cable is generally considered to possess a natural sound and good for vocal music. A bi-wire version of the Airoflex is now available utilising 4 separate conductors. However, due to sound quality considerations the dielectric has been specified as natural (no colour coding), therefore it is recommended that terminated cables are purchased. Spiroflex I Spiroflex I loudspeaker cable comprises a single strand grain orientated large crystal copper conductors insulated with PTFE dielectric. It is suitable for connection between any integrated or power amplifier, and any loudspeaker possessing an impedance greater than 2 ohms. Spiroflex 1 builds upon the strengths of Airoflex and gives better resolution and bass weight. Spiroflex II Spiroflex II loudspeaker cable uses a single strand grain orientated large crystal copper conductors insulated with PTFE, similar to Spiroflex 1. However, this cable differs from the less expensive Spiroflex 1 in the construction of the outer protective jacket, which is replaced by a Air/Polyethylene Layer that improves the Electro Magnetic environment surrounding the insulated conductors. The resulting improvements are a more natural and open sound with better bass weight. Unfortunately due to the advanced construction of this cable, only terminated pairs can be supplied (Swiss made 4mm gold plated plugs as standard, other terminations to order).		Spiroflex II Bi-Wire This is the Bi-wire version of the Spiroflex 11, and is identical in construction except that two separate twisted pair cables are included within the Air/Polyethylene jacket. To aid identification and connection to the loudspeakers, the tweeter section of this cable is cut approximately 25mm longer. Again, due to the advanced construction of the cable, only terminated pairs can be supplied (Swiss made 4mm gold plated plugs as standard, other terminations to order). Ultra Silver The Ultra silver loudspeaker cable is based heavily upon the spiroflex 11 range of cables, except that an ultra high purity (99.999%) silver wire replaces the grain orientated copper conductors. Due to the transparency, resolution and realism of this cable, only the best ancillaries should be considered. A Bi-wire version of this cable is available, but the high costs of processing the silver, dictate that it is custom made by the factory (typical delivery time - 10 weeks). Terminated cables come as standard using Swiss made 4mm plugs, but other terminations can be supplied upon request.
LFD POWER CORD To compliment our range of amplifiers and cables, LFD Audio offer two types of mains cable for low and high power applications.
PC-OCC mains cable - is made from multistrand PC-OCC copper insulated with a high temperature dielectric sleeved in PTFE insulation. Primarily this cable is intended for: CD players, Integrated and medium size power amplifiers. Both mains leads use a gold plated IEC plug at one end and a 13A mains plug at the other.		Hi-Amp mains cable - is formed from 3 cores of 16*0.45mm silver clad OFC conductors insulated in PTFE. This cable is ideal for DAC's and large power amplifiers such as: Krell, Mark Levinson, Roland, etc.
